Lillian Greenland

Artist Bio: 

Lillian was born in Aklavik, NT, but now calls the town of Fort Smith, NT her home. Lillian does a variety of traditional art, including: beading, sewing (hides), mocassins, mitts, baby straps, card holder, and earrings.

Lillian has been an artist for over 12 years, and worked on a loom doing her beadwork, making headbands, belts and necklaces as a child. She also learned from her sister who worked with embroidery and yarn, and her aunt, who made parkas, mocassins, and everything else but beadwork.

Lillian loves creating, brainstorming new ideas and showing them, and enjoys completing projects and doing things traditionally.
