The Visitor Information Centre is the Town of Hay River's tourism centre. Anyone looking for information on the local area, South Slave Region or the Northwest Territories are encouraged to drop by and we will help. As the main tourism centre we are often asked for local artisan work and where to view and purchase. In response to that need we have invited local artisans to put their work on commission in the centre. This has proven to be quite popular with tourists and locals alike. We are located at 923 Mackenzie Highway, Hay River, NT X0E 0R3 Tel: 867 874 3180. Our Winter hours of operation are Monday to Friday 8:30 am to 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm, closed on holidays and weekends. Contact us for Spring/Summer/Fall hours.
